The Miss Philippines-Earth has been known for its unprecedented regional search for a true Filipina who cares for and helps in the preservation of the environment.

Now on its 8th year, The Search for Miss Philippines-Earth 2008 will be participated by thirty seven (37) candidates from their respective city, municipality and province of the Philippines.The Filipino communities in France, Germany, United Arab Emirates, USA East Coast and USA West Coast also sent their representative to the Miss Philippines-Earth 2008.

Miss Philippines-Earth 2008 will culminate on the 11th of May with the coronation of a new batch of winners who will continue the legacy of beauty and responsibility at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila. It will be telecast on ABS CBN Channel 2 and on the different countries that carry The Filipino Channel.

In addition to Miss Philippines-Earth, The organizers will also select this year from among the candidates Miss PAGCOR International Tourism Ambassadress who will represent PAGCOR full time in the latter’s social and tourism efforts.
